Christmas has come and gone but good thing for the Dietzel is we celebrate Jesus all year long!

Christmas this year was spent at Mom like usual :D This year being a Sunday Christmas the YMCA was closed so Faith Family did not have service. However we got to go to church with my dad and mom which was nice.

Most of you know by now how the we do our Christmas... 3 gifts.

I tryed this new recipe for homemade eggrolls.... I turned out surprisingly. You know with my cooking record that is nothing short of a miricle!

Parade of Lights

I'm sure everyone is busy during the Christmas season, not just the Dietzels.

We just finished up two CHRISTMAS Parade of Lights. This first one was in Owosso. Our church walked the parade handing out 500 glow necklaces. It was a perfect 50 degrees in Michigan this evening. Never in a million years will we have it this good again. It was awesome.

This here was the Corunna Parade of Light. It was one week later and the temp was a freezing 21 degrees! brrrr... we handed out 500 candy canes.

Did I mention I LOVE my Church!

Also last week I had surgery on my neck. I had a thyroglossal duct cyst remeoved.

It was no biggie really in and out in a day. My mom came and saved the day. Paul wonders if i can have surgery once a month so mom will come down. I agree. I was nice to have her here.

So yesterday I was lucky enough to have those ugly hairs removed from my chin (stitches) Sorry I didn't have time to take photo. The scar is in a great spot where you won't seen it and next month I'll be able to start putting on the cream to help heal the scar :D

IAAPA

Paul and I just got back from IAAPA (International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions)

which was held in Orlando, Florida.

This expo is 9 miles long if you walk every isle with over 2,500 vendors! Talk about sore feet!

This inflatable was ONLY $30,000!!! It weighed 1,500 pounds

Obviously we did not buy it!

I'd say that 80% of the expo is hands on. I tried everything I could. It was like I was a kid again. I even tried this high ropes course. AWESOME!!!

Here you can try every kind of carny food you can buy at the carnival! We tried it all times 3 because we were there for 3 days! It took us two whole days just to walk the entire expo.

This was the worlds Largest ipad.

These are those Hurricane machines that you find at the mall. Crazy fun but not worth my $$$ Good thing I didn't have to pay!

There was free Icee's, Dipn Dots, Pizza, Cotton Candy, Coke, Egg Rolls, Funnel Cakes, Ice Cream.... oh man my pants were starting to get a little snug!

Free things to do like making yourself in to bobble heads!

Free Glitter Tattoos! Oh the fun, oh the food, oh the money we could spend if money grew on trees! This expo has high rollers. People were there buying rollor coasters, water parks, 5D theaters, Concessions all the way down to a simple garbage can! It was great fun with husband trying all these new things. It lets us see what is the latest and great in the world of entertainment and allows us to dream big!

Happy Fall

I must say I'm enjoying the cooler weather here in Michigan. Although I know that it means snow is approaching fast! That I'm not to excited about. The girls are... us old people are not!

This year we pick our own pumpkins at our property. We have 3 1/3 arces, But don't live there however it is just around the corner from us. We allow a friend who owns a landscaping business to dump his grass clipping there. One day last month Paul went to see how things were looking over there and to our surprise we had a pumpkin patch. We got about a dozen pumpkins out of it. What a pleasant surprise. This year Autumn carved her own pumpkin with her own knife. She was very proud.

The East Coast

Paul and I have been alone these past few days. We've have programs over here on the cost in Maryland and Deleware, we will have been gone 10 day when we get back home. Paul and I have enjoyed every moment away... truly enjoying the coast. Our first stop was in Pasadena Maryland for a 3 day family crusade. We opted to visit Annapolis. (thanks to google images you can see exaclty where even been. Although in person its much better!) We've only been here once. We thought of going to DC to the Zoo, but we've done DC so many times we decided against it. I know.. Boo Hoo!

We walked this very road and the shops were quaint and cute :D I picked up a few Christmas presents.

Saturday we drove to Frankfort Delaware for our next 4 day family program. Sunday after the morning service we went about 20 miles down the coast to Ocean City, Maryland.

We love it here! I love the ocean! The condoes are stacked on top of each other here. I can not imagine being here durning the busy season!

Thank you google images... the beach was not nearly as crowed. It was perfect.

Today we went north up the coast the Rehobeth Beach. This is a much smaller town with great shops and yummy cup cakes!

Tomorrow Paul and I are going to this beach. The church we are doing programs for this week put us up in a condow a few block from Bethany Beach. This is were you will find us in the morning... hopfully we will be seeing some dolpins.

It's been a great time away together, but we are both ready to go home and see our girls.

Hello Blogger Firends. If you're still there.... I have no idea if anyone out there is still reading this blog.

This past week marked our 2 years with our Faith Family. I truly can't believe that it has been than long, time flies! These photos were taken by someone at our church, he hasn't given them all to me yet but I do have some to share..... enjoy!

We were hoping to have 200 on this special day. We had 189, we are not complaining one bit! After Church we had a picnic and some favorite church people of mine from the Freedom Center (where se spent a year on staff at) came to help. While in service that crew came to cookour dinner and set up everything. I didn't have to do much of anyting but purchase the food. I appreciate them soooo much. They have no idea what a blessing they are to Paul and I.

Brown City Camp in a Nut Shell

It was a great week at Brown City! We love to see our friends and family and reconnect. This was our 6th year at Brown City Missionary Camp. ( this was two weeks ago)

This year at Camp we hardly seen Autumn. Camp shut down at 11:00pm and that's usually when she came back to the cabin. Lillie also made her rounds to her friends cabins and we rarely seen her either! It's kinda like we had no children this week! It's great leting the kids go and have peace that nothing is gonna happen.

In a Nut Shell... Here we go! Paul hurt his pack trying to save somthing from falling on the ground! 1/2 through camp he was pretty much outta comission! But we made it. Here are some great friends trying to help him out! (Don't worry ones a Doctor!)

Nearly 300 hundred screaming kids... the Lord was graceious on the heat this year!

It was wonderful weather. Ceiling fans were installed in the barn and it help tremendously!

Here is our little cabin :D We've taken photos off all the years of camp we've been here and put them up in our cabin. Love it :D Good memories!

Our little cabin is a blessing! It's has two bedrooms, girls have bunk beds and we have a full bed. Ouch

We had a guest this year at camp... He did the eveing programs for us as we were booked at a church up the road for the eveings. He explains Brown City camp as "you can't explain" I agree. It's a unique experience with thousand of people on campus!

We have two age groups of kiddos but they are combines for the program. They just won't fit all in one camp photo!

Ever year at camp kids raise money for missions. Kids all over camps set up little sales selling whatever they can to raise money. It's great becasue adults and kids alike know where the money is going so they stop by and purchase: lemonade, candy necklaces and even rocks! This year Lillie caught on to this concept and wanted to try her own! She sold rocks, cookies and chips. The neighbor man came over to just buy a rock from her! It was so sweet. Her first sale just made her day!

Paul wanted to make sure that Lillie has a good sale so he was calling people to the back door of the cabin and giving them money to purchase at Lillies little sale! lol she was so excited! shhhh don't tell!

Bay Shore Camp

Running behind in post, but we've had no internet at the last two camps! boo

It sure makes it hard to keep up on things! Bay Shore is a great camp with awesome activites for the girls to do.... however we worked or butt off! You know... it's funny how we work, work, work our butt off but we don't lose weight! I think I've put on a few pounds becasue of having desert after every meal! lol

I know that by looking at these photos your thinking... The Dietzels just played around all day! But I beg to differ!

The gym that were were in was dark for photos so I just didn't bother takeing photos of our programs. Your gonna have to trust me on this one. We had about 100 children at Bay Shore Camp. This was a 8 day camp and we did at total of 20 programs! Totaling about 24 hours of pragrams and material!

We have been the camp evangelist at this camp for the last 5 years. Lillie was just a baby when we came here. I remember shoving her in the nursery screaming so I could go and do our program. My how those days have changed, Lillie loves her classes now. Autumn actually went to the Jr. Hight class, I still can't believe I have a kid in Jr. High!

We just returned home from Brown City Camp (Photos hopefully tomorrow) doing another 12 programs in the last week. These last two camps have really taken a toll on Paul. I think our bodies are telling us we are getting old. Paul though his back out mid week of camp trying to catch something falling of the table. Looks like we will not be doing much this week on our week off of no programs! Which is probably a good thing.

Busch Garden

Paul and I were blessed with some tickets to Busch Gardens while we were in Florida. It was way to hot to go to the park but we did. I'm such a wimp. I don't do so well in the heat any more, must be I'm getting old. It would have been tough on the girls if they were with us. We still had a great time despite of the high temps in Tampa.

We were lucky enough to be ushered into the back door of Busch Gardens by someone who will remain anonymous. In the late afternoon on Friday, Paul and I caught all the shows and then came back on Sunday to eat all the food we could and ride the rollor coasters. Which are our favorite by the way. I can't handle those spin and puke rides anymore.

We were blessed with spending money and we're told to purchase these bands that get you all the food you can eat for $29.00 per person. So that is what we did, and did we eat good!

Breakfast was eggs, bacon, potatoes and toast. The deal is this... you get an entree, plus a drink, and a side dish. You can get back in line as many times as you like. Paul and I each ate a breakfast and from here on out we shared meals. Each getting our own drinks and sides. We wanted to try everything we could!

After breakfast we hit the Cheeta Hunt , it's a new coaster in the park. It was a smooth ride...:D Then we hit up the wooden coaster and it was awful! I don't know how I did those when I was younger. It's a killer on the body!

Next we hit an early lunch! Chicken Ceaser Salad (sorry it's half eaten we forgot to take the photo), chocolate Oreo cup cake and waters.

Lunch... BBQ ribs, chicken and brisket with fries and a roll, two beverages, cheese cake and strawberrys. I don't know how anyone would have room to get back in line and get more food!

Off to hit another coaster, suprisingly not barfing up all this food I'm eating in this 100 degree weather.

Most places that we ate at were indoors. So to get outta the heat we'd slip in and grab a snack and a beverage to keep hydrated! Here we stopped at the Pizza Place only stoping for desert pizza and a Mt. Dew. From this point on I was ruined.... I needed to used the bathroom everytime is seen one!

I forgot how wonderful Busch Garden Park was. Last time we were here Autumn was just three years old. It's mostly shaded with great walkways, the zoo and the amusment park are mixed very nicely.

Food again :D Turkey wrap, with home make chips and pickel. Don't forget the Chocolate Cake and beverages. There is no way Paul and I could each eat our own meals at this rate!

We stepped inside to catch a show, cool down and have another snack! Paul needed a coffe and I wanted to try that brownie. It so convient to just walk through the line to grab a drink or fresh fruit. Not having to wait in line to pay was so nice. I'd recomment this meal deal if you ever plan on visiting Busch Garden. It's so worth the money.

On the bright side... we are walking and sweating it off! By telling myself this it helps me not feel so guilty about eating again... Can you believe the pastor and his wife sining on the Sabbath day with Gluttony! lol We shared a fish sandwich and fries with a chocolate desert and beverage. Paul is making me lay off the beverages. He's tired of me having to use the bathroom every 30 minutes.

Final stop of the evening... Carrot cake, sweet tea and a coffee. That's it... Your gonna have to roll us outta the park!

The evening show called Kinetix was AWESOME! It was worth the stay till the very end! I'm glad Paul and I braved the heat wave and got to spend a HOTTER THAN HELL day together enjoying the adventures and eating till our hearts were content!

Man is it Hot in Florida

Paul and I are currently in Wimauma, Florida which is near Tampa. We are kidless and we are having a blast! haha We do miss the girls. We are going on week number two and we are getting anxious to get home.

These photos are of last weeks camp at the Church of God Camp in Wimauma, kids are ages 10-12 years old.

This week we are speaking at the Jr. Camp which is ages 6-9 years old but some 5 year olds have slipped in! lol

Paul and I love camps... It's one of our heart beats. We feel so blessed to be asked to be guest speakers at youth camps. Paul and I both grew up at Youth Camp and it holds a very special place in our hearts! We even met at Youth Camp :D

This weekend Paul and I were able to see a movie, go to the ocean and do Busch Gardens Amusment Park! We've been having so much fun together... These are the times I feel guilty when we don't have the girls. I know they'd be having a blast. We know they are in good hands at the Grandparents. We SKYP often and they seem to not miss us at all.

We have missed our Faith Family this week too, Big Time!!! We love them so much. It has been a great weight lift off my shoulders to have staff back at home keeping it all going smooth while we are away. We have to be gone one Sunday a month during our summer busy season, but it feels as if we have not missed a beat!

Binder Park Zoo

I have to admit... the Dieztzel's love the zoo.

Mostly because the head of the house loves the zoo.

The best part of Binder Park Zoo in Battle Creek, MI is the Giraffes.

You can feed them here for a small price... it's worth every penny!

I personally think the giraffe is the coolest animal God made. It's so graceful when it runs, so long and lean and that tongue is amazing. Did you know that a Giraffe could clean it's ears with his tongue if he wanted to!

I'm loving the new camera. I still have yet to watch the DVD's However, without learning the fancy settings it's still a great point and shoot camera. I don't think anyone could take a bad photo.

I've ordered a cute bag and camera strap of ETSY, I can't wait to show you!

Paul and I are off for 2 weeks in Tampa to speak at a youth camp down there. I have a feeling I'm gonna lose 10 pounds just from sweating! Autumn is going to church camp in Michigan and then both of the girls are off to Granny Runt and Grandads. It will be a long two weeks without them but we are only a SKYPE away!

A New Camera for Me!

The day has finally come! After one year I finally have a camera again!

We were extra blessed at a church in Indiana two weeks ago. So much so that we decided that now was the time to replace the poor Canon Rebel that died nearly a year ago.

I had this carma for nearly 7 years. It was a good ol' camera but now!!! wooo hoo. I've finally upgraded. Thank You JESUS! So hopefully, here's to more photo on the blog again. I feel like I've missed a whole year of the girls growning.

Paul has purchased for me a Canon 60D DVD's that I will someday watch when I have time!

Can you believe it? Two post in row... Don't get used to it! haha

Brown City Missionary Camp

So this is Camp number two outta six this year. We love Brown City Camp but is is always terribly hot! However, this year was a great year! We had only 1 super hot, unberable day in the open air tabernacle.

Although, you would think by the looks of Paul shirt every moring after devotions and evening program, that it was over 100 degress everyday!!

It sure is fun though putting a 170 screaming, sweaty kids in this sauna!

It rained at camp and I found the beginning of the rainbow! I've never seen the begining of a rainbow before! I told paul we'd better run quick to get the pot of gold before it disappears!

We were also very fortunate that this year at camp they let us have our very own golf cart!

I'm not sure who was having more fun? Us or the girls?

I just happpen to be a week behind in my posting. This camp was last week and so far we have finnished up a 3 day family crusade in Davision, MI and now we are currently in Battle Creek, MI for another family crusade.

I'm trying to keep up but it just seems near impossible!

Face Art

I just realized that I have only blog one time on my face art! My new love!

I've gotta get you all up to speed!

I love having my own face painted! lol I paint it when I go and do a birthday party!

I guess it's the only way I feel I can justifly the love of it! I want one too! lol

It will be year in August since I begged my husband to buy me these paints! Which I really didn't even have to beg! He willing invested in me. I knew I could do it if I just had the right tools. (this is my friend Juile who came over so I could paint her face for her daughters halloween party. It was my first full face)

Since Last August I've been painting faces at birthday partys for extra income!

I love love love it! I've never been an artist, but I've always been a doodler!

These next four faces were some I painted yesterday at a 5th grade end of the school year party.

I painted 80 children! I was awesome!

Love this one! It's so hard to come up with the guy stuff...

boring compared to the girls who love girly and fun!

I went to a local preschool class last month to bless a teacher for all her hard work.

The boys refused to get painted! lol

I've recently taught about 6 ladies at church to paint.

We've been able to do some great outreaches this way.

Camp Michindoh

Heres to the first outta SIX Camps! I'm whipped already and it's only just begun!

It was a great first week. Camp Michindo has the best by far accommodation that we will have at all our summer camps. The food was awesome their is no camp that can compare.

Last year Autumn was a chicken and did not ride the water slide... this year we could not keep her off! Lillie the same, she loved every minute of it!

Wow! What a week time for... Laundry, packing and to do it all over again.

Without the water slide I'm afraid :( See you next year Camp Michindoh.

Mississippi is Hot!

Summer is here! Its time to get on the road again! Gas is expensive y'all! (I can say that cause I'm down south) We filled up before we left at $4.00 a galon but down here in Mississippi we filled up for $3.49! Gotta love that. That is the cheeper gas not the heat!

We ran into some flooding heading south. The sand bags were holding back about 2 feet of water, keeping it from crossing the freeway. The construction workers were pumping water out of the median into the field on the other side of the freeway. We had to drive though a couple inches of water.

I can't believe the water that is surrounding that tree in the middle of the corn field.

One of our favorite places to eat is in Sikeston, Mississippi. Lamberts Cafe is home of the Throwed Rolls. It was number 19th in the country of the 101 Tastiest Places To Chowdown.

They really do throw the Hot Rolls, 8000 a day!

Just so you know, I caught mine :D

Today it was 90 degress here in Pearl, MS. Its so hot compared to Michigan, when we left it was only in the low 60's. The locals say this is spring and that it is not hot!

We just finished up our first kids crusade of the year and we've had 4 days of hanging out till our next program. This first stretch of the season we had to come without the girls. It will be 12 days without them . I'm missing them a bunch ;( Soon they will finish school and be with us. We start our first camp next week. We have 6 this year.

We found this great store called Dirt Cheap. It's all returned items at a great price!

Mr. Bacon has ate all of our slippers. Lucky for him I was able to replace them for $3 a pair at Dirt Cheap. They came from Target. I could tell because of the clearance price tag. I also picked up a couple pairs of $2.00 flip flops, speedo swimming googles for $1.60 and a few other items I really didn't need. But it was fun!

Its been nice, for the last several days Paul and I have been spend alot of time together. I love spending time with him... dreaming, planning, reminiscing, napping and even shoping for nothing! lol

Summer is in full swing so I'm going to try my hardest to keep up on this blog for all my friends and family who wonder where in the world are Paul and Jessica this week. Especailly my dad :D

Easter Sunday 2011

We were hoping for 200 people at Family Family this Sunday... We met our goal plus 6! It was a packed house.

I have on idea how many kids we had this week but we made up 100 easter baskets. They were all gone when I turned around :D

Then off to the park for an Eggsplosion! Some of you know our system. We hid the eggs empty, yup empty.

We hid 10,000 eggs and the kids collected them and took them to the egg redemption centers where the eggs were counted. Then from there, they head to the Candy Centers.

At the Candy Center is where they recieved Candy based on how many eggs they collected. It works for us! We don't have to invest in eggs every year and we don't have to have an egg stuffing party.

We've been training our church on how to do Face Paining and Balloons for outreach!

They are doing great! What a team of people!

Just the Day before Easter (Saturday) we were in Maryville, Tenesseee doing a 3 day kids program ending with a 20,000 egg hunt. They had 2,000 people in the park Saturday and it was a perfect 80 degress! We then drove home right after arrivng home at 11:10 on Saturday Night!

Just in time for Easter Sunday at Faith Family.... What a weekend!

My blog and I are not doing so well lately... :( I just can't keep it up! I need to clone my self!

Summer is almost here and we will be in full swing again traveling.

I just wanted to show you our church bulletin!

At Faith Family we call it the Sunday Comics. It just fits our style better :D

All in a nut shell... here are 10 updates before I head to bed. We are off to Gatlinburg TN for a program in the morning.

1. I'm sick of this weather... I need summer and sun! I just put all my winter shoes away and brought out the flip flops and then it snowed :( booo

2. Lillie has been complaining of a head ache for weeks so I'm taking her next week to get her eyes checked. I'm hoping she's not like her mother.

3. Autumn has lost another tooth tonight. The big chicken will not put them out herself! I think their are just two left and all her baby teeth will gone :( Did i mention she goes to Jr. High next year?

4. I'm trying to finish my book Six ways to keep the Little in your Girl. I'm hoping to finish this on our ten hour trip tomorrow. Then to start The Remnant... Restoring the call to Personal Integrity by Larry Stockstill. Can't wait to start that one!

5. Can't believe Faith Family has record breaking attences for the last 4 weeks... We are believing for 200 on Easter Sunday.

6. Paul just graduated last night from his Dale Carnegie class. His class was the first one that was designed for Pastors.

7. Our Egg Hunt was postponed from last week to this Sunday due to yucky Michigan weather. We are hiding 10,000. As if you could really hide them!

8. I'm working on a new Kids Church program for our kids K-3rd. We've been running 75 children under the age of 12 and I'm about to loss my mind over all that needs to be done! I've never done Kids Church solo without my Husbby. I'm hoping I can train workers fast so I can be back with him on Sunday mornings.

9. Faith Family just hired our first staff, a Next Gen pastor and Music Minister! Finally less responsibility on me! Yippee. I'm trying to clean my plate.

10. Our family is so ready for Summer Youth Camps it can't come soon enough! We are speaking at 6 this year!

Goodnite all, It's gonna be an early morning... but atleast is will be 75 degrees in Tennessee when I get there!

On Your Mark.... Get Set... Go!

Faith Family had it's First Annual Pinwood Derby Race.

Head of house recieved the derby cars and you had to have a pit crew of at least three people.

It's was a hug hit, 25 families raced this past Sunday evening!

On the menu was Pastor Paul's famous Corn Dogs! We a have our own corn dog fryer and we batter them ourselves! Yummo, you can't just eat one!

FYI... Kazoo is our new party rental place we are opening up in May.

There is a story behind that I'll share when we are officially open!

Our Kazoo step truck didn't' place but it was sure fun to build... just ask Paul!

He build the truck and I printed the shirts! lol We are a great team!

Paul and I are so excited! Faith Family is hiring their first Staff! Can you believe it? I can't! But I am so grateful for the help that is coming our way! Because we need it! Paul and I just can't do it alone anymore. Pastor Tyson will be our Next Generation Pastor as well as the Music Pastor.

Faith Family Gives Back

This Past week Faith Family has been busy leaving our mark! We have taken it upon ourselves to redo the Tot Watch room at the YMCA. This is the room that our Kids ages K and under meet in also.

Paul and I took a trip to ~~our~~ my favorite store. I could live here! I could spend all my money here and I could eat all the cinnamon rolls I want here! lol I love IKEA!

Their meatballs are really yummy too!

Did you know you can eat breakfast here for just $.99! Plus you can leave your children in their childcare room while you shop! Anyway back to the remodel!

A New Love...Norwex

I've been wanting to blog on this for quite some time! I've been slacking on my blogging lately. I know it's because I don't have a camera, sorry dad.

I love, love, love this product. I just wanted to share. I've been using Norwex products for 6 month now and I don't know what I'd do with out them. Here are a few facts.

I started out with the facial-antibac clothes.

To clean the cloths you boil them for 5-10 minutes.

After the facial clothes I tried the Enviro Cloth, antibac. This is an everyday cleaning cloth.

The big test is to wipe butter on your window and take the Norwex cloth and clean it off! Unbelievably it comes perfectly clean with no streaks using only water!

Back in time for the Blizzard

We got home just in time to beat the crazy weather. (15 inches here in Corunna, Michigan) Georgia was beautiful while it lasted. If time allows we always make a stop at Carpets of Dalton. This place has all the deals!!

They have 3 rooms like this of clearance carpets. This time they had huge carpet specials. For any 12x12 carpets remnants they were $39 and any 12x15 and up they were only $49. We managed to pick up two rolls, (more if we knew we would have had room) one for friends and one for the YMCA. Faith Family is redoing the children's room. (photos to come)

We managed to shove it in the van and head to our destination 3 hours away.

Its was a great trip with just Paul and I. (those trips are always a special treat) This church was a huge blessing to us in many ways. While we were here an Army Clergy gave us this 4x4 for Lillie and the church gave us two round kiddy tables for the YMCA redo.

This here is a photo of our van on our way home... Paul is a great packer. I wasn't so sure that we were going to get it all in. So, on top of having our 5 inflatable games, 5 motors, stage equipment and luggage we managed to add... two rolls of carpet, 2 round kiddy tables and this 4x4 re-chargeable car and a few other items I found on clearance!

Here is the side view! I know what your thinking... where is your trailer? You see, when we don't have the girls we take out the seat and shoved all the stuff in the van. It saves us a ton of gas money! So in order to save a few hundred bucks we shove it in and hope it all fits coming home!

It has been freezing here in Michigan these last few weeks! I dread the heat bill :( Despite the frigid temps faith family went sledding! Believe it or not we had over 60 eskimos show up!

They just made this hill in Owosso! A family at our church, their house has the hill in there back yard! So we all were able to get out of the cold into their garage which they heated and made hot chocolate :D

Paul and I don't have any sledding or winter gear! Even with living in Michigan all our life you'd think we'd know better! It's on my top priority list to get snow gear on clearance this year when spring hits!

Faith Faith is facing yet another challenge... And it's not needing more chairs. However it is getting close to that point again.

This photo was taken this Sunday night at our Mexican Fiesta! These are our Children! HELP!!! We are in dire need of a Children's Pastor! On any given Sunday we will have anywhere between 50-60 children under the age of 10. Send us the right family Lord to lead our Children!

Oh and we are warm! Paul and I are in Columbus, Georgia this week doing a few days of programs. This 50 degree weather is a wonderful change ;D

I'm Still Here!!

I know I've been missing in action lately, but I can assure you I have been in action!

Here it is all in a whirlwind...

1. God is so Cool... he makes me smile :D And I've even cried here some too lately :D

2. We have a new family member named Pickles he came the day before Christmas. He's a Green Cheek Conure.

3. I never got around to post Christmas photo which is so sad because my computer died and I lost them all. I totally regret procrastinating :( The good new is I have all my photo prior because I back them up! Yippee for me, however, I was not smart enough to back up my whole computer.

5. I Learned how to back up my computer this week.

6. My front loader died and is no longer with us... enough said.

7. We are on the 21 Day Daniel fast and God is faithful.

8. I'm spending/setting my life way in front of my computer rebuilding music files and programs.

9. Leaving Thursday for a Family Winter Crusade in Indiana.

10. Servant Hands bookings are coming in for Summer 2011.

11. I worked all of december with my seasonal job. I love every moment of it and I'm thankful for it, but I'm glad to be a stay at home mom. I don't see how moms put in 40 hour weeks and still get it all done and then some!

12. Oh, the Church (faith family) bought us a new plasma flat screen tv for Christmas! It was nice to go from a 20 inch to a 42 inch. I'm not joking!!! We had no idea what we were missing all these years! lol Now were are in the twentieth century with HD TV. Icarly and Dora the Explorer are so much more fun to watch now!

I know what your thinking!! Where did you find an orange CHRISTmas tree???

If you don't know what our church colors are... now you do!!

We were ever so lucky to find in it Detroit at a place called Garden Ridge.

Families decorated ordainments with Faith Family colors and placed them on the tree.

We gave away a family prize to one lucky family. It was a huge hit and every family participated.

This years CHRISTmas celebration included...

crafts... cookie decorating... brunch... wrapping gifts for a family that we sponsored...

Photos with Santa were a huge hit!!. The mall Santa came to us!

We didn't have to pay or wait in any lines!

We were so blessed with a local photographer who came in a did our families photos for FREE!!!

Role Reversal

Every December for the past 10 years Paul and I do a roll reversal. I am blessed to go to work in December wrapping Christmas presents. This mades me the bread winner for the month. I enjoy my time away and being able to be creative!

I never want to take for granted being a stay at home mom, I'm spoiled.

I'm telling you this for just this reason... I love and appreciate my husband... He does a great job taking care of the family while I am away. When I walk in the door, dinner is on the table, dishes are done, beds are made... and sometimes even the laundry has been washed!
He loves me so much :D Thanks Husband!!

Spirit Sunday

This past week was Sprit Sunday at Faith Family... It's time to show your pride!!

It was a fun service for families.! Notice the orange christmas tree!! Whoop Whoop! We found this fabulous tree down in Detroit and we could not pass it up. Families are decorating Christmas ornaments for our Faith Family Tree. If they do this they are entered into a drawing to win a family prize on our Santa Sunday. Yes... I did say Santa Sunday. The mall Santa is coming again to Faith Family for family photos!!

Faith Family is seeing much fruit! If I boast of anything it is what the Lord has done! Our church has such young, unchurched families. We have been going through the basics. We just finished up the Blessed Life by Robert Morris and have seen God do miracles in our church families finances. We went from 5 tithing families to 11, from just making the lease to having more than enough!!

The stories are so cool how God is providing for these young babes in Christ!

We were able to purchase these chair dolly's for our chairs...it was much needed, the other chair cart wheels were falling off. The YMCA is having to make more room for Faith Family. Storage around the YMCA is hard to come by!! I guess you could say we are having growing pains around here trying to figure where we are going to put all these people and all this stuff!

My First Gig!!

This weekend I painted myself up and I was off to my first paying gig... a birthday party!

I painted 11 kids in just over an hour.

I even got tipped $$$$$

I hoping for a few more parties to help us get through this winter a little easier.

Paul and I were givin Ticket to IAAPA... the tickets cost $350 each!!

If you know anything about my crazy dream big husband... this was his dream vacations. Not only because it cost it nothing to get in, and they covered our gas because we delivered some inflatables for a vender there but all the fun and carnival food was free!!

The exebitor hall was 420,000 square feet of trade show floor, with 1,200 different venders.

We rode indoor carny games, played in the photo booths, got glitter tattoo, played carny games, climbed rockwalls.... However we DID NOT PLAY ON ANY INFLATABLES! LOL We do that enough!

We ate till our heart was content...Egg Rolls, Funnel cake, Frozen yogurt, Ice cream, Slushies, Hawaiian Shaved Ice, homemade Potato chip, Roasted almonds, Polish sausage, Potato on a stick, Dipp'in dots, Mini melts, Coke, Pudding, Nitrogen Sherbet, Frozen coffee, Grape sprite, Snow Cream, Pizza.. That's all I can remember at this point in time. No cotton candy for me but you better believe it was there!

At IAAPA you can purchase roller coasters down to stuffed animals that go in the vending machines, concession franchisees to just a Shaved Ice machine. Which is next on my list by the way!

Paul and I came and we dreamed big... Him much bigger than I!

I think sometimes I put him in a box. I'm working on that!

Paul and I are praying for an indoor play place for our inflatables to do indoor birthday parties as well as a place for our church to met. This would allow us to stay local and do ministry and remain self-employed.

This inflatable is not on my list... however I do want a water slide!

People though we were crazy, we had so many amazing job offers a large churches, surly we could have done and gone anywhere we wanted and taken any job other than the challenge of a planting a church.

Him calling us to plant a church, this challenge the Lord has laid on our hearts has been so rewarding. Today I am boasting! Because I can...

Faith Families 2nd Annual Spud Fest

This past Sunday we had our 2nd Annual Spud Fest at our Church Plant. I'm happy to say that the Pastors Family won 1st place! There were no names on the potatoes so the judges had no clue it was ours! I'm telling the truth here. However the girls were dyeing to get that 1st prize gift of an Applebee's gift card! I felt felt bad because I wanted one of our families to win, but the girls were excited... sometimes they get the short end of the stick if you know what I mean. The joy of being a PK!

We make our potatoes into a pumpkin snowman! The rules go like this. You can use any type of potato and you can do anything you want to it! There were three categories... adult, kids, family. We had a great turn out. We had a hot potato bar and potato chip bar for good eats, then played games with the parent like... the men mashed potatoes with there hands and the moms tried to see who could peel the potato the fasted! I tell you what... that Faith Family church knows how to have some fun!

Silver Bay YMCA

We just returned from a Conference for YMCA pastors and chaplains. I say it was just, but it was really a week ago. I'm just getting caught up. We stayed for free at this great place with an amazing view. I'm sorry to say that it rained all 3 days we were there. My camera has fried and died so all you get to see is these photos that I sadly did not take, they are from their web site.

Hey, at least the sun is shinning in these!

So this is the Front of the Campgrounds.

The only way to get here was by boat. People boated over from New York and Vermont in the mid 1800's to Vacation.

This is the orginal inn that everyone stayed at when they came over to stay for months at a time.

This piece of property is rich with amazing history. Christ is truly the center at this YMCA camp.

This chapel was built in 1902 and still has Sunday services.

We meet in here the first night we arrived.

This is the room we meet in for 3 days, however the sun was not shinning.

...But God's son was shinning.

This photo I did take with my crappy camera!! Our first day here, the rain cleared for two hours. We climbed 1,300 feet to the top! It was hard work and I was sweating like a pig! All of the older pastors were kicking my butt! You could tell they worked out at the YMCA! We decided to take the path straight to the top. Not the long way around, heavens no that would be to easy! We want to make memories people!

We didn't have cell service for our stay here. Look around I'm sure your not surprised. The funny thing was, as we got 3/4 of the way up the mountain my phone starting ring... beeping... texting... everything was coming through! It's amazing what happens when you get out of the forest!

It was a great week weekend. I can say that the Lord allowed to see a little bit more of His vision...

YMCA Conference

Paul and I are off to a conference being held in Silver Bay, New York in the morning. It's an 11 hour dive but it's gonna to be worth it!! This conference is being put on for Pastors that have churches in the YMCA. It's the first of it's kind! We are so geeked! We received an email the other day stating that it was all paid for all we have to do is show up! So off we go. We are staying at the the Silver Bay YMCA of Adirondack. It looks like a great resort, and a great get away for the two of us. I can't wait to see what God has in store for us and Faith Family.

One Year Celebration!

Faith Family is officially 1 year old, and I've been a pastor wife for 1 year! lol

We finally got our church mobile sign done this year.

It took some time... with not a lot of funds it hard but were making it!

We had 89 people this Sunday. It was great for us, not our biggest crowd but a good one. The strange thing was that we only had 2 families visiting so everyone had been there before. So we are finally getting a stronger core of people!

We gave out tons, of wrapping paper, gift bags, tissue paper, bows and ribbons!

What a treat! Everyone was so geeked!!

We made these Magnets for the fridge with our 3 month calendar on them. Doing this hoping that it helps everyone remember the upcoming events that Faith Family has planned.

We were blessed with two families from our previous church that we were on staff at come and cook for us. It was such a blessing. All I did was buy the food and they came and set up everything... including our inflatables games. Our people were able to come and enjoy and not have to work. The intention in this was that our families who brought visitors were able to visit with them and others, helping them connect to our church. This also freed up Pastor Paul and I to visit and meet new families. Several came off the streets to the picnic.

We had corn on the cob! Have you ever had it with parisian cheese???

It's the best, you'll never eat it the old way again!

All in all it was a great day and we were so grateful to the Freedom Center for lending us their families!

I'm so proud to be a pastor wife.. I never thought I'd say that... It's been so rewarding.

One Year Anniversary!

I can't believe it's already been one year! Time has flown by it hardly seems possible! This past Sunday was acturally the one year marker, however we are celebration it this Sunday with a BIG picnic! (You know the Dietzel's know how to throw a party!) I've got ton of wrapping paper, gift bags, tissue paper, ribbon and bows to give away... we are also giving away 12 mahogany/oak mirrors. Were glancing back to see what God has done and to the future to see where God is taking us!

I can say we are averaging 60 in attendance. We are so pleased with this and all the new souls we have reached. God is blessing us and we are so excited about the future of Faith Family! Photos to come!

I've jumped with both feet into this Face Art!

At Brown City Camp I ran into this awesome Face Artist named Brenda. I asked her to come to my cabin and teach me. She agreed!!

I'm so geeked! I'm hoping that this new endeavor will help us bring in extra income this winter.

I'm working on birthday parties, school carnivals, mom to mom sales... I'm looking for anywhere that will let me paint. I think I'm about ready to start charging.

Boys are much harder than girls. Girls love butterflies and crown, boy... ugh.

I've learned to make my own rainbow cakes. This style of face art is quick and easy because of the use of multi colors at one time.

Even Pastor's Wives love them! I've been painting for about 4 weeks now! I just love it.

I'm feeling super tired this week, and so is Pastor Paul. Summer has finally caught up with us! I captured this photo last week of Paul taking a nap before our evening program.

And then again...

It's no secret that the Dietzel's take a nap everyday if possible!

We are now finishing up our last Kids Crusade of the summer here in Port Huron. THis is our last hotel stay for a while! Thank you Jesus!

So here is some useless information for you...

Our season started May 1st and went through September 1st.

We have done 6 camps this summer...

14 Kids Crusdaes...

11 Family Fun Fairs...

We have done 124 stage programs this terribly hot summer!

(I know those numbers don't add up but at camps we do sometimes 2-3 programs a day)

oh and don't forget set up and tear down at the YMCA on Sunday Mornings for our Church plant

...14 times

We've been to 8 different states...

You can figure out for yourself how many hotels we've stayed in, how many fast food restaurants (not enough Chick-fi-la) we've eaten in, and how any late night dinners we have had. (1/2 off appetizers at Apple-bees)!!

Thanks be to God there were no Lice epidemics this year!!

So there you have it! I can't believe when Paul and I first started traveling as Children's Evangelist we were booked 9 months a year! How in the world did we do that! I guess the answer is... we were young!

We are not finished with our season yet. We are still busy most weekends through October, but at least know we can sleep in our own bed.

So with that I guess I can justify why I'm so tired and don't feel like doing a thing!!

Bay Shore United Methodist Camp

I know I'm behind on my post... several weeks of prgrams!!

This here was Bay Shore Camp! It's an awesome camp grounds, a great family camp.

We had about 100 kids this hot week. Summer has been hot this year! We did 3 programs a day. It was a tiring week! You better believe we got a nap every day!

This is my view... everyday behind the Mac!

Lillie is waiting in line for the trackless train... It's open 1 hour a day right before dinner. You better believe we are in line over and over for the entire hour!

The Zip Line is another favorite at Bay Shore. It is by far the best Zip Line I've seen at any camp!

It was Lillie's first time this year.

She did amazing! I thought for sure she would chicken out at the last minute.

It is sad she is growing up!

Once you've rode you have to take the zip line back up the hill to the start line!

I know your wondering.... where's Autumn???? That week she was the lucky grandchild to go to Florida with her grandparents! She had a great time in even hotter weather! I think Lillie enjoyed her time as being the only child =) I know I did.

a Day Off... for me anyway!

Paul is up north all day today with equipment. The Boy Scout rented our inflatables at the fair as a fund raiser. It's a hot one too! I feel sorry for him!

Me, on my day off... I went to Kroger and did some damage! I spent $52.00. I'm trying to get my stock pile up before winter. It's feast and famine foks in an evangelist house.

And should I say a Church Planters house!

I came home and made myself a ham sandwich with some of my favorite Dukes Mayonnaise! Love this stuff so I stocked up while I was in St. Louis! The best Mayonnaise ever! I've also had PBJ sandwiches for lunch for the last 3 days. It's something about all that camp food. I'm so tired of eating 3 full meals a day.

Lillie and Autumn painted today. She put her picture in this envelope and wanted to mail it. I informed her that letters have to have stamps on them if they go in the mail box. I told her I didn't have any. She claims she had some of her own. She did! BINGO STAMPERS!! silly girl! So her package is stamped and ready to go out in the mail tomorrow!

Autumn played with Mr. B in the yard this evening... in her pjs! We miss him alot while traveling, people at church have been helping with him while we've been gone.

other than that... vacuuming, laundry, dishes, office work.... still waiting for husband to get home.

Brown City Camp... It was a hot one!

This we we're in Brown City at the Brown City Missionary Camp.

Lets just say it was a challenge for me. I have a hard time in the heat, and I have been a little crabby. We had 300 kids at this family camp. We took 2 group photos but all 300 were in this "tin can" for the programs.

The neat thing is... these kids raised over $1,700 in offering for a China Missionary.

As you walk around camp kids are selling lemon aide, candy necklaces, collection pop bottles...

Again I lost the offering contest! The contest was that Pastor Paul would swallow the gold fish if he won, and my side was to save the fish... The boys won, the fish was swallowed whole and I was turned into a fish by having 2 buckets of water dumped over my head.

This here is our quaint little cabin. I don't know how we get so much stuff.

I am glad to say that we have finished our 6th camp of the season and we are now finished. ahhh We love ministering at camps but boy do they kick our butts! For now the rest of the summer is full of family crusades and fun fairs and I can mostly unpack all the junk that we have accumulated over the past 6 weeks. It was so nice to sleep in my own bed last night... nothing like it.

Last night the window blew shut and startled me! I sat up in bed and I had no idea where I was! HA I'd say we've seen a many different hotel rooms and cabins. What's worse... waking up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom and having to think where it is located in the room.

I've skipped a few camps... I'm hoping to make up some post of the past few weeks. Lots has happened!

It was a sad day for me this past week. I've had my Canon Digital EOS Rebel since the first day they came out with this baby. Your not going to believe this... but... it finally died. Boo hoo! It broke and my heart is breaking. I can not live with out my camera. I've had her for nearly 7 years!

But you see, my MOURNING has turned to DANCING! I've been wanting to replace my camera for the past 2 years, but would not do it because it worked just fine and there was no need. But NOW there is a need!! Whoo hoo!

However... This Canon Mark 5D II is kinda pricy and Paul and I just invested in 3 new inflatables for summer, and the budget is tight. We are trying our best to make this work by the end of summer. The good new is my friend Peggy let my barrow her Digital Rebel for a few months until I get mine replaced. Hopefully with the Mark 5D II, Thanks Peggy :D

He keeps me on my toes and works me like a dog, but life is good. There is no higher calling than ministering to children, if I don't say so myself.

I do love this man!! He is a nut and he does sweat a lot, but he belong to me!

I'm far behind in our summer adventures for blogging... sorry about that. These photos are from 2 weeks ago at Tyrone Vally Church of God Camp. Right now as I type I'm wait for Paul to come back to Bay Shore camp. He had to go home to speak at our church plant this Sunday morning. That means that I went solo this morning here at Bay Shore United Methodist Camp doing the kids program all by myself. I survived incase you're wondering. I always do but I never like it. Sometimes it just has to be done.

This is our 5th camp this summer, onto camp number 6 next week. Then we'll finish out the rest of the summer with family/kids crusades.

Illinois Church of God Camp

So this week was way hotter than camp at Ludlow falls! It was in the hight 90's.... a scorcher ! At least were inside for our programs... that helped a ton! Sorry I didn't get much for photos this camps. To busy to hot!! Autumn stayed behind to spend the week with a friend, Lillie was the only child. I think I was a nice change for her.

We are starting a Kids Crusade tonight through Sunday in Alton, IL... then off to Michigan Church of God Camp! Looking forward to a great week!

Bethalto IL

These past 3 days we have been in Bethalto Illinois. The concept the church tried to minster to the family this year was a success!! Each night families came for games and fun then split up into different classes: children, youth and adults/parents. Obviously we did the kids, the adult took parenting class by Dr. Lehman. No not himself personally, but by DVD. They also gave away some great prizes for the family. That last night they had 350 people. It was a great concept.

While we were in Bethalto we were only 30 minutes to St. Louis, Missouri. So we took advantage of our day and went to the Magic House. It's a hands on museum for kids and big kids!

The girls were not successful in getting the bubble fully around them.

I really wonder if anyone truly can???

Lillie made us pizza in the pizza parlor and Autumn took our photo. This was a huge 2 story play house all with: library, baby hospital, pizza parlor, kitchen, market, bank and tree house...

oh and a pond to fish in.

This was everyones favorite part!!!

I'm thinking I need to make this my new facebook profile :D what do you think!

I'd say this stop here was our second favorite. We spend lots of time playing here.

The Dietzel family highly recommends the Magic House if you are ever in the St. Louis area.

Ludlow Falls Camp

This camp was the most primitive camp we've been to, but it was great, hot, sweaty fun!

They took the kids to the a local water park for the day. I didn't pack my swim suit this trip (that way I don't have to swim) so I had to take a quick trip to Kohls to find a suit! That is a whole other post in it's self! grrrrrr

It was such a hot day but the pools were nice.

The kids had s crawdad competition, so off to the stream we went! The girls wanted nothing to do with this, nor did I... Pastor Paul enjoyed every second of it.

They cooked a few for the kids to try. I try them too, they were taste! However I did not peel it myself. That crazy man in the photo did it for me!

The kids usually get to walk up under the falls but the water was to high because of the rain this week. We still got a pretty good family photo. I put it on fb and my friends think it looks like a 1990 Olan Mills photo! Thanks to my fixed 50 lens I'll take that as a compliment!

Her is Autumn's cabin crew... and Lillie the tag along :D All the girls just love her and mother her.

This here is the open air tabernacle.... HOT HOT HOT. This was a busy week for us. We did 10 programs in 6 days! There were about 130 campers. Boy oh boy did Paul soaked though his shirts this week and it's not even August! I'm sure he is a tad bit skinner!

Hillbilly Water Slide

Camp is in full swing here at Ludlow Falls, Ohio! This is our first time here at the Missionary camp!

It is so hot this week! There is no pool but there is this awesome "HillBilly Water Slide" our camp back in Michigan needs one of these!

Autumn was slip n and slide n from side to side because she would not lay back on her back, which would have been even faster!!

Lillie had a great time, climbing up further and further up the slide until she worked her way up to the top. She was nervous at first, but now she can't be stopped!

We are half way through the week! It's a long and a hot one here at Ludlow Fall... Tomorrow we will be walking down to see the falls, they are right in the back yard here at the camp.

So we made it to our first camp... it doesn't seem like camp tho!!

This was dinner... can we say delicious. The best camp food ever! Scalped potatoes, ham, chicken, glazed carrots and pilaf rice! Lillie is cleaning her plate, Paul claims that its better than my cooking! lol I would agree, no argument from me!! After Camp Michindoh, it all goes down hill from here! Don't tell the other 5 camps, it may hurt their feelings!

Snack for the Night

Pau thanked (sarcastically) me for the yummy desert I made for the family tonight! lol I worked real hard, a whole 45 seconds in the microwave! I took a fraction longer because I had to put the vanilla ice cream and hot fudge on top!

I got these today for a quarter at Meijer. They are 10 for $10 and I had a $.75 coupon! Trust me they are not worth the whole buck (sale price) nor the full price of $2.25!! They are worth the quarter thou.

Summer is in full swing!! Autumn's last day of school is tomorrow, only because we are taking her out a day early to head to Hillsdale to Camp Michindo (Michigan Illinois Ohio). What a treat, the girls are so excited. It looks like this year we are speaking at 6 different camps. Two less than last year, looks like we are slowing down! ha! Camps are our passion, we love to speak at camps. We are looking forward to a many children's lives being changed in coming to know Jesus.

Another Trip to NAEIR!!

This was two catalog orders, we barley got it all in!

I'm so excited to see what we've got. I love free stuff!! I've got lots of ideas how we can use this items in ministry! I'll try to show you later what I've got!

I can tell you this... wrapping paper, gift bags, bows, dance outfits, party supplies, shelf units, costumes, christmas wrapping paper and bags, all types of cards, tools, bathroom fixtures, t-shirts, Cold Water Creek shoes, scrap booking items...... and the list goes on! Oh Happy Day!

Faith Family Picnic

Yesterday (Sunday) was a AWESOME day, a EXHAUSTING day, a HOT day, a LONG day... but it was worth it! We started out at church for Faith Family, mind you we set up and tear down in the YMCA. Then off to the house to set up for Autumns 10th Birthday Party from 3-5pm and then the church picnic from 6-8pm! Yes, I nearly crawled to bed last night!

My Pastor makes the best corn dogs!! Man I love him!!! lol

Memory Lane Monday... Our Nanny Lacey

This Memory Lane Monday I thought we'd take it back to the beginning.

I figured since Lacey's been with the girls while we've traveled these past 2 weeks and onto the third, I should introduce her to you. I'm not a crazy mom who leaves her children behind!

I met friend Lacey when my dad pastored her church when I was in the 6th grade. Lacey is one year older than I am and we are great friends! When Paul and I started to travel doing Children's Evangelism in 2000 I asked Lacey to come along for our summer travels and watch Autumn. Autumn was just 3 months old at the time. (You know a mom just can leave her baby in the church nursery not knowing anyone, and most nursery's are disgusting so I've found out on our many journey's from state to state. That is a whole another topic in its self!) Our first time out with Lacey was to Nebraska to speak at a camp where they bused in inter city kids. (sorry I have no photos to go back that far, i'd have to scan them)

Soon our travels were not just summers but 9 months long. Lacey would go home to put in her resume and try to find a job teaching because she graduated from MSU with a teaching degree. Lucky for us she belonged to us most of the time.

Autumn loves Lacey and I have to admit so do Paul and I. Now that Lillie has come along she also adores Lacey. I think growing up with Lac has made a huge difference in having her around she is just like family.

Lacey travel with us for 5 years, until we came off the road to put Autumn in School. Now she is around most of time if I need her. Which is a huge blessing. I love that she runs my house as I would, and the girls can pull nothing over on her! It's almost as if I'm not gone at all. It is great peace of mind.

Happy 10th Birthday Autumn

We drove through the night to get home on Autumns Birthday... Autumn choose to go to Applebees for her birthday dinner. She loves to share the Orange Chicken with her dad. She choose the birthday dessert of hot fudge sunday with no whip cream and four cherry's. I gave her a pair of cute earrings that are her birthstone for her birthday. We are celebrating with a party at the end of the month with all her school friend coming out to the house for a big TEN party. She wants ten inflatables for her 10th Birthday.... lol I don't think so, that is lot of work! She can have five!

Unclaimed Baggage

Ever wonder where your lost luggage goes??? Today we went to Scottsboro, Alabama to visit the Unclaimed Baggage Center. We've been here probably 4 times during our traveling summers.

The Unclaimed Baggage Center is exactly what it is called! All the baggage that is lost at the airport comes here for people like us to buy. You can purchase anything to everything from here. Lots of stuff is used but lots is also new. I always find a few good finds.

I took this photo today of the ipods! It made me laugh out loud! What a sight. You can pick up a used Nano any size andy color for about $35. So if your ever in the area I encourage you stop buy and see what you can find.

Then the first week of June we have off before we are booked every day of the summer. We have several Kids Crusades and 6 Youth Camps this summer. Camps are the girls favorite.

Lots of driving this month ... and in between we have to head back to Michigan to be at our church on Sundays! Crazy I know as soon as the girls get out of school we'll all be toghether again. Lacey is staying with the girls these past and next few weeks. We don't like to go without the girls but sometimes we just have to do it. It's our sole income so when the phone rings we've gotta go. It was a lot easier when Autumn was not in school and before Lillie came along. We knew this day would come... we are working on staying more local.

This is the Church we are ministering at this week in Soddy Daisy, Tennessee. It is beautiful this week not hot at all. Paul and I were able to go to Dalton GA and pick out some new carpet for the house (it is so so cheep in GA at the outlets) we also went to our friends in Cartersville, Georgia for lunch this afternoon. It's great to see old friends. Friday we head home. We are driving through the night to be home for Autumns 10th Birthday.

Were heading to Scottsboro Alabama in the morning... I can't wait to share with you all where I'm going.... It is an awesome place. A place we haven't been in a very long time, only when we go south.!

Show me your Space -Children's Ministry

At Faith FAmily we have a mulitgenerational service so the kids are in the service with us. In the back of the gym I have "Quiet Play" for children 3 and under.

I got this great bin at IKEA and I"ve put different quiet items in each bin. We ask that parent come back to the mat and stay with their children or they can take something back to their set.

Every Sunday we have a Kid Jam. We call all the kids up to the stage to sing a special song. It's a different song every week, we sing anything from silly and active songs to praise and worship songs. Kids love it and the adults love to watch their kids.

MothersDay and Happy Birthday

Faith Family had a great crowd this morning. We had 76 in attendance! It's so excited to see God working! Oh the story's I wish I could share!

This Sunday was a busy one for sure. I should tell you about those congas! I looked everywhere for used ones and no one had any! Months went by and finally I found some for $80. It was an awesome deal new they are $250! I used a Mr. Clean sponge and they cleaned up like new! Yesterday was the first time they were used! It was great to have someone to keep the beat! Now we just need a piano and guitar player. Oh and a music leader!

All the moms took home helium balloons for mothers day. Pastor Paul did a great job on his Mothers Day service! (big proud smile, he makes me so proud)

This Mothers Day we celebrated husbands 40th Birthday!! It is actually today but he was born on Mothers Day. He is one old man who is hard to surprise! He pays so much to detail!

The church bought him this Giant Revive Bicycle. He was so excited. I wish you could have seen the look on his face. Just the other day he was coveting Spongebobs friend, Squidward's recumbent bike on TV!

Now this old man can ride in comfort and style!

It was a great day Mothers Day/Birthday!

Today I'm packing for Oklahoma. We will be leaving on Tuesday bright and early. Lacey is coming to stay with the girls for the week. It's that time of year to get busy soon they will be able to go with us... Kids Crusades and Summer Camps HERE WE COME!

What I'm reading these days...

I'm reading a Francine Rivers book series on 5 women in the Linage of Christ. It is Awesome. It started with Tamar, Rahab, Ruth, then Bathsheba and now the very last book I'm on is Mary. They are easy quick reads with devotionals in the back. (It must be remembered these books are novels. It is Ms River’s interpretation of biblical facts, incorporating her knowledge of the customs of that time. Reread the stories in Bible and know that Francine Rivers is true to the account, leaving nothing out.)

This one I'm reading in the car while Paul is driving. I keep it in my visor and read it bit by bit as I have time. It's also a really great read. I had read many reviews on some blogs that I read and I'm finally getting around to it. I'm glad I am. It's insightful for a new Pastor Wife like me!

Show Me Your Space -Worship Center

I'm tagging along and playing with my friend Rachael, who is also a church planting wife... we are showing different parts of our church throughout the month of May.

So here we go...

Show Me Your Space - Worship Center

We met in the gym of our family YMCA. We use pipe and drape around most of the gym. This looks nice and makes it not so gymnasium looking. lol It also helps with the sound. I took my camera to church this morning and I only got this first photo before my battery died! Just my luck. The next photo was taken at christmas!

We set up over 1/2 court using more pipe and drape across the back. It is nice because our growth is not limited to our space. We can pretty much do what we want in here, we have tried lots of different figurations.

So there you have it Faith Family meets in the Shiawassee Family YMCA. Perhaps the Lord will see fit for us to have our own build or perhaps we won't! We are okay with either! HA! We say that know because we are not quite a year old and are still okay with tearing down and set up every week! lol I wonder if I'll say the same thing this time next year!!??

Deviled Eggs... help!!

I've never made deviled eggs. Well, I think I did once but I can't remember when it was! So for the last two weeks I've been trying to peel these hard boil eggs!

I've talked to several people and I have tried many different methods over the last few weeks. Still no luck. What is wrong with me! Who ever heard of a pastors wife who can't even hard boil eggs! Everyone knows I can't cook but come on!!

So you know what my problem was! lol Fresh eggs! I got an email from a lady at our church who did some research and come to find out fresh eggs do not hard boil well. I bought some eggs at the store and tried the experiment, and they looked amazingly perfect! The eggs need to be at least 2 weeks old! Our chickens lay about 4 eggs a day. I guess I'll be holding on to them a little long before I use them to make deviled eggs. Who ever heard of a fresh egg being to fresh!!??

I guess I'm not a dumb at I thought I was!

Faith Family Stage

This week our church was blessed with a gift of $500! Yay God! So we have a few projects in mind. The first one is to work on the stage. We have some staging that we are using but it needs to be carpeted and skirted. Paul and I worked on this the other day and Lillie caught some sun rays! It looked awesome this Sunday... I'll try to get some photos this week. I've been so bad lately not taking many photos! I need to better... I will do better!

Kiss'n a Pig

We put out a challenge a few weeks ago to Faith Family (church plant). If we had 80 people I would kiss a pig!

We are averaging around 50-60 people and are tying to get over that hump. As you know we ran 130 on Easter Sunday. It was a great day and showed our potential. It's just getting people to be faithful and realize that they need to be in church every week!

So I chap sticked up my lips and wiped the pigs nose, because it was running with some clear slime and gave him a nice big pucker!!

I smelled pig all through service! I wonder why!!

Nappy Time

It seems to me that the only time my husband pick up the camera lately is to take photos of me sleeping!

You know how it goes, mom is never in any of the photos!

Now mom is the one sleeping in all the photos!

Mind you this would never happen with any other dog! I can't believe this dog has no oder! Most everyone knows that I'm not a animal lover! Mr. Bacon is adjusting very well as you can see, we all love very much. Paul and been take him on bike rides and that helps get out some of the Whippet energy! He is such a lover!

HA! I did manage to get a few nappy time photos myself!

So the cat is out of the bag! Yes the Dietzels do take Cat naps almost everyday! It's good for you. Have you had your nap today?

I feel the Burn!

Paul and I have been working out at the YMCA about 2-3 days a week, getting ready for summer programs. I love the Elliptical. It's smooth and you just glide along not even know how far you've gone. Paul has been running a mile for sometime know and he thought I should give it a try. I decided that I would... It truly was a piece of cake and I didn't mind the run a bit. I asked he why he wasn't up to 2 miles yet! lol

However... that day has come and gone and I am paying dearly for it! The treadmill has caused me nothing but pain and misery for the last 2 days!! My thighs are killing me! I feel as if my whole body as been beaten up. I'm not so sure I like the way running makes my body feel.

As of today I'm not sure I'm ready to jump back on the treadmill. I think I hear the Elliptical calling my name. If anyone has any tips please share. I've never been a runner. The last time I ran a mile was in high school. I may have even walked it then!

Clown Graduation

The class graduation was held at the Durand Senior Center,

they performed skits and songs for the elderly.

Autumn really surprised me during her skits, she remember her lines and spoke loud and clear. She's really grown up. She'll be 10 years old in May.

Clowning Around

Autumn and Paul and taking a clown class together. Paul and I have not clowned in 10 years but Autumn is showing some interest so they decided to take this class together.

This was the week where they worked on there hobo face.

Each week they work on a different type of clown face. (white face, auguste, hobo)

Autumn is learning how to use a stead hand. It's really hard but in time I'm sure she'll get.

They had their first clown gig at a local park for an easter egg hunt. They made balloon animals and did some face painting. Lillie of course had to clown too! I gave her my old clown nose and she surprised me by wearing it all day. I couldn't believe it. This summer we will work on her costume. We are one strange family! lol Clown graduation is tomorrow so I'll have more photos tomorrow.

Did I mention we have kitties! We have four girls and one boy, they were born on Good friday. They are so sweet but they are all finding a new home.... any takers?

Memory Lane Monday... Maui 2005

Well, being that spring break here in Michigan was a pretty cruddy week with rain and cool weather, I figures we might as well reminisce about Maui!

You know that perfect 82 degree weather all year round with that tropical breeze! ahhh

Paul and I were able to get away in November of 2005 alone... It was awesome. This photo here we were taking a trail that took us up through a bamboo forest and the prize was a huge water fall.

This was a bike trip down the volcano. A van came to pick us up at 3:00 am and it took us to the top of the volcano and watched the sunrise, then we rode bikes down to the valley.

It was freezing up there! Around 30 degrees then by the end of the day trip it was 82 degrees!

We also did the tourist helicopter ride which made me sick!

Ahhh, great memories... I think I hear Maui calling my name again.

Pastor Paul and I were so excited. We had a record breaking crowd of 130 people on Easter Sunday. What a treat! God is showing us so many things through this new church plant. We launched back in September and have seen new families every week. We are finding that families love being together to worship in a fun, new exciting way!

Faith Family was blessed with a gift this week and we'll be purchasing some new banners, carpeting the stage and finishing up our trail that will carry a huge sign. God is so Faithful and we are blessed to be used by HIM!

Paul volunteered at the school today for vision testing. He asked me to bring Pizza for lunch for the 4 of us. I stopped at Little Ceasers for a Hot and Ready Pizza. I bought gummy worms to put on top it! I just thought that that would be such a cute little trick for April Fools day. And mind you it would have been if it had worked!

Turns out the joke was on me. Who knew that they would melt all over the pizza and leave green, yellow and red goo all over the top! ewwww

I can't believe the week is already half over! Time is flying by. We are working on our 1st egg hunt with Faith Family. Although we have put on 100's of egg hunts, I can say that I'm most nervous for this one. We have been hired to put on egg hunts that have had 30,000 eggs having in some places up to 3,000 people. What in the world am I worried about! lol

We are planning our egg hunt on Easter Sunday. Why you may ask?? Our goal is to reach unchurched families, families that don't go to church. Families that go to church will be at their own church on Easter Sunday, this way we feel our resources are well spent. Our goal remember is to reach at least one committed family to Faith Family each event that we do. (we have seen 2 families come continually since the family skate night)

Our egg hunt will be a small one this year. We'll be having 5,000 egg with 10,000 pieces of candy. Every egg hunt that we do double in size the next year. I can't wait to see what the Lord has in store for us.
