Happy 10th Birthday Autumn

We drove through the night to get home on Autumns Birthday...    Autumn choose to go to Applebees for her birthday dinner.  She loves to share the Orange Chicken with her dad.  She choose the birthday dessert of hot fudge sunday with no whip cream and four cherry's.   I gave her a pair of cute earrings that are her birthstone for her birthday.  We are celebrating with a party at the end of the month with all her school friend coming out to the house for a big TEN party.  She wants ten inflatables for her 10th Birthday.... lol  I don't think so,  that is lot of work!  She can have five!

Clown Graduation

Class of 2010
SHIA ALLEY Clown KLUB

The class graduation was held at the Durand Senior Center,
they performed skits and songs for the elderly.

Autumn really surprised me during her skits, she remember her lines and spoke loud and clear.  She's really grown up.  She'll be 10 years old in May.

This is Ricky and Butterfly Autumns clown friends.

Great Job Pastor Paul and Autumn...and little Lou!  We are now officially a clowning around family. As if you didn't already know that!

Clowning Around

Autumn and Paul and taking a clown class together.  Paul and I have not clowned in 10 years but Autumn is showing some interest so they decided to take this class together.

This was the week where they worked on there hobo face.

Each week they work on a different type of clown face. (white face, auguste, hobo)

Autumn is learning how to use a stead hand.  It's really hard but in time I'm sure she'll get.

They had their first clown gig at a local park for an easter egg hunt.  They made balloon animals and did some face painting.  Lillie of course had to clown too!  I  gave her my old clown nose and she surprised me by wearing it all day.  I couldn't believe it.  This summer we will work on her costume. We are one strange family! lol  Clown graduation is tomorrow so I'll have more photos tomorrow.

Here is my great spending spree for the day...$1.31 at Kroger.

Did I mention we have kitties! We have four girls and one boy, they were born on Good friday.  They are so sweet but they are all finding a new home.... any takers?

I got the Butt End of the Joke!

Paul volunteered at the school today for vision testing.  He asked me to bring Pizza for lunch for the 4 of us. I stopped at Little Ceasers for a Hot and Ready Pizza.  I bought gummy worms to put on top it!  I just thought that that would be such a cute little trick for April Fools day.  And mind you it would have been if it had worked!

Turns out the joke was on me.  Who knew that they would melt all over the pizza and leave green, yellow and red goo all over the top!  ewwww

This mother can never win when it come to food!

New Do's

Tonight the girls got long awaited hair cuts.  Autumn wanted hers short so Lillie of course did too!  Autumn has super thick hair and has be complained about her ponytail so this cute bob is simple and easy.   So long ponytail!     She also got that cute hot pink hair extension.  It should last about 2 months.  This $8 splurge was priceless for the smile I got in return when it was put into place!

Every girl needs a SNUGGIE

Autumn as been wanting a Snuggie! Crazy Child! (Secretly I think I'd like a Snuggie! What about you??) I knew that they would be to big for her so I told her that maybe Lacey would make her one for Christmas. This is all she has talked about for the last several week.

Last week in the mail Justice (Limited Too) send a catalog out and they had Snuggies in their catalog. She could hardly stand it! The money has been burning a hole in her pocket for the last month. Frankly, I'm surprised it lasted that long! lol There was a 40% off coupons in the catalog so yesterday Paul and I went and picked up her Snuggie for $12.69. This was one happy girl when she got home from school!

When does a girl shave her legs?

I remember shaving my legs in 5th grade. I knew that Autumn would be asking soon to shave her legs. I had decided that when she does ask I would let her. There will plenty more topics to argue over!

Last week Autumn as not wanting to wear her tight leggings because it bothers the hair on her legs. She has so many cute out fits to wear with her tight leggings and never wears them. Now I know why. So I told her to shave her legs! Crazy mom! So we did.

Autum is 9 years old and in 4th grade, it may be to young, it may not be? All I do know is that she was hilarious and so excited! When she was finished I told her to go and put lotion on her legs. As she sat down on the floor with the lotion she says...

"OH MY GOODNESS, my legs feel like HEAVEN!"

So when did you shave your legs and when do you think you'll let your daughter?

First day of 4th grade

My how time flies and kids grow! Autumn is so excited for school she could hardly sleep. I'm glad she enjoys school, I always did. Her choice for school shoes this year was Converse and Lillie had to have some too! She got pink high tops!

It's worked out for Lillie to go to preschool 2 days a week. She can hardly wait. It's a Christian preschool program in Owosso at the First Congressional Church. She received a scholarship so I only have to pay $36 a month. This month I only had to pay $11.00. Thank you Jesus! I'm not sure how long I would have been able to handle Autumn going to school and Lillie asking me all day long when she can go! As we went to pick up Autumn today from school, Lillie was sleeping. She woke up and the first thing she seen was the school and she yelled, "MOM! Is it my turn now!"

Lots of church plant stuff going on this week. Today Paul and I took Autumn to school and hopped on the freeway down to IKEA! You can never spend enough time there! It's such a special treat to go. We got lot of great thing for the church. Only 5 more days till the kick off!

quick update

Sorry about the lack of post lately. I just wanted to show you a quick shirt that I cut last week at camp. I love it. I get so many complements on all my shirts. It's so easy to do. You all should try one and show me. I'm sure you all have a t -shirt laying that needs to be retired that you could practice on.

This is Autumn in her new clown out fit. She's been waiting all summer and is finally sporting her new getup. Thanks to Lacey who make her short outfit.
She calls herself Tumbleleana??? Is that spelled right? She has a short outfit so she can do her cartwheels and tumbles. Were still looking for a few different hair pieces, but were trying to stay away from a wig. That way it won't fall off when she is tumbling.
Were trying out a few different faces. I've done them but as soon as we find something she'll be practicing so she can do it herself. I've also bought a pace painting kit and will be doing some practicing this week. I'll keep you posted.

Recital time!!

This was Autumns first year in Jazz.  She love it!  I think she did a great job  or being her first time.  She loved the fact that she got to wear makeup.  The rule is no glasses on stage so she said she couldn't see anything.

                                                                                  This is Autumn

Autumn is the one in the front row on the right.  She is the very last one coming onto the stage.  She remains there the whole time.

Poem in Your Pocket Day

Yesterday at school Autumn informed me that she had to wear something that had pockets,  it was "Poem in Your Pocket Day."    This is her poem.

   My mothers a pan
                                   My dad is a cook
                                   I am a fish stick
                                   That better be cooked

Paul and I are thinking that Autumn understands the birds and the bees better than we think! Sometimes I wonder where she comes up with this stuff.  She gets the creative gene from her dad.

We'll were off this morning to teach our class, Reaching Teaching and Pastoring Children.  This is the last class and everyone graduates in June at the State Camp Meeting.  Then from there were off to Blytheville MO and then to Tuttle OK.   Lacey is stay with the girls for the week. This will be my longest time away from Lou.  They are both excited about Lacey being here so I know they'll be fine.  Paul and I are looking forward to time alone. We will also be super doper speed walking every night after programs, not eating to late, and were going on the Subway diet while we are gone.  My summer clothes are to snug... okay, not fitting at all!!  I so glad summer is here so we can get active again.

PS- Lillie has done wonderful with out the paci.  I wonder what took me so long to do this?

Rock Painting

All of the snow has melted and it was 50 degrees today.  That was a freaky thing having snow in April.   Finally today it felt like spring on spring break!  Autumn and Lou went outside this morning to find rocks to paint.   They spent a hour being creative.

Lillie gets this tongue thing from her Grandpa Dietzel.

Autumn had her eye doctor appointment today.  We went to several places this morning before the eye appointment and took a picture of her wearing the glasses she was interested in.  Then after we had her eye exam she made the decision as to which ones she liked. We looked through all of the photos I had taken and she choose from them.   She was very picky,  well maybe not picky but she knew exactly which style she wanted.   Anything with a color was not an option.  It would not match everything so it had to be either brown or black. She preferred the plastic frames over the metal frames.  The glass will be here in about a week and then we'll let you all take a peek.   The doctor says she only needs to wear them at school to see the board and do her work & watching tv. She doesn't need them when she plays unless she wants to wear them.

Be Mine... Valentines Day Party

Today was the day,  her Valentine Party at School.   Autumn counts down the days to the events that she looks forward to.
These Valentines have been done for over a week!  Thanks to Tracey they're extra special this year, she's been photoshopped in with the Jonas Brothers and we wrapped them around Hershey Bars.  That cute shirt she is wearing I got of 50% of the clearance price which was only $3.00 Yea!
I'm going to surprise her today by showing up at her Party.

Paul has left again for the weekend.  He's off with John to NY, by way of cutting through Canada.  It's a lot faster that way.  He's in Upper State NY.  He's at Winterfest again with about 1,500 Youth, that are using 10 of our inflatables. If you've never seen our ministry you can click here.

I Don't know what I'm going to do this weekend.  I know the bathroom needs cleaned, the refrigerator needs to be cleaned out and I'd like to clean out a few more closets.  My mom's church has a spring garage sale to help send the kids at church to youth camp.  I've filled a few bags for her from the girls room that I cleaned last week.   I'm hoping to give her some more treasures,  I will be seeing her in two weeks so I will be able to get this stuff out of my house. Yeah!  Yeah to seeing my parents and Yeah to getting that stuff out of the house:)

Enoch, Autumn & Lillie

Encoh...  Getting to be a big boy.  Weighting in at about 105 pounds and is 11 months old.  He's doing great and he listens very well.  A habit he's picked up is drinking out of the tub faucet. He seems to like the drip.  He sleeps all day and wants to play at night.  We found out today that he is going to be a great protector.

Lillie Lou... she's liking her sister's Nintendo DS.  She has been cracking us up lately, she is so funny.   She's into her dress up and princess stuff.  She likes Angelina Ballerina, Backyardagains, Max & Ruby and Wonder Pets.  She likes to talk on the phone to Grandma even though most times you have no idea what she is talking about.  Everything Autumn does she has to do.  She still has that silly passy. That's because mom doesn't want to give it up yet :)  Don't worry she only has it when she sleeps and when she rides in the car.  Today we cleaned out her clothes for summer. She can still where some of them.  She a tiny little thing.  She loves her black dress shoes and would wear them with everything if I let her.

Autumn...  Always has and always will bloom with personality!!  Loves the internet.  She has her own email and enjoys looking at videos on youtube.  She is growing up so fast. Her favorite store is Limited Too.   She love's to dress up,  but also loves to play with boys.  She's into her Jazz class right now.  Yes, she does have rhythm.  She loves animals and can't wait to go on a date with her dad.  This Monday after jazz they are going to Applebee's.  She's is so excited.

As for Paul and I (sorry not photo, there's never any of the parents any more) We're doing great. I enjoy spending my days with him.  I think we're kind of spoiled when it comes to being self-employed and doing what we want.  Some have been asking about the fast and if we've made any decisions yet.  Not yet, but lots is happening and we will know the Lords will before to long.   I'll fill you in soon as to what is happening with the Dietzels?

Everyone has the flu...

Everyone has the flu... Not in my family.  It's funny, every blog and I've been reading the last couple of days... some momma is cleaning up puke!

It hit us while we were up at Tree Tops.  The Saturday that everyone left,  Autumn decided to puke... all day... in the car to Walmart...  at least she knows how to use the bucket!  So far so good no one else has gotten it.  Good luck to all of you.  It's only a 24 hour bug.

I must say.. Since we've move and had to down size in our bedroom to a queen.  I miss our king bed. (Tree Tops spoiled me and the girls)  I love it when the girls come in early in the morning and crawl in.  There so much snuggle room.  Paul claims he like the queen best.  He missed me! He's so sweet...  Right!  He's just looking for body heat and someone to keep his toes warm!

Autumn's Memory verse

Autumn was so excited to go to church this week to say her memory verse that
see learned last week!  Which was all good until Mom and Dad had to go to
Ohio this weekend to Visit a Antioch Church in the YMCA.
So because of her great disapointment we recored Autumn saying her memory
verse to e-mail to the pastor so she could receive her points for Kids Zone.

We've been attend here for the last 4 weeks. Autumn really enjoys herself
and seem to be learning a lot.  I'm very impressed with her teacher who is really
working with her class on how to find things in the Bible.  We've been visiting
several local churches in the area and we are content here for the time that is needed
until we decide the direction in which the Lord has planned for us.

Lillie of course, has to do everything her big sister does, so she wanted
to be video taped also... here is her verse. LOL!

Paul and I had a great Visit to the Antioch Church.
The YMCA has opened their doors to them. They are the largest YMCA in the US.
More to come on this. Let's just say it's got our wheels a turn'in!

Again sorry for the elf video
that is stuck up in the header
I'm still working on that!

Self-Control

We've had some small problems with our 'Chatter Box'.  You know, the girl who knows no stranger.  The girl who meets new people in different states across the country!  Yes, our little chatter box Autumn.

For the last several months Autumn has been talking out of turn at school. We've had several notes come home.  The 'Chatter Box' could not be stopped! We tried taking away Webkiz, computer time, tv, her Wii... Nothing worked. We told her that she needed to work on one of the fruits of the Spirit, "Self-control."  She claims that she cannot help it!

Three weeks ago Paul took 'Chatter Box' over to work at the barn. The conversation there was, you've left us with no other choice..."if you get another letter from the teacher, then you'll just have to get a woopen'!  There was silence.  Not another word spoken.

Today was the big day!  Mrs. Kildea says that Autumn is a great student, everyone loves her and she loves to help others.  And she also says that since that last note 3 weeks ago there have been no problems.  She can tell that Autumn is working on her self-control!  I guess that little talk worked!  No one wants the woopen stick! LOL!  shhh Mrs. Kildea doesn't know.

She's doing great in all areas, she needs some work in reading comprehension. Mrs. Kildea loves reading her stories and can tell she is going to be a great writer, she's very creative.  I wonder where she gets that! LOL!

We know that Autumn has great potential and that her chattiness and her love of conversation will serve her well in the future, for now she must learn self-control.

Yesterday Autumn came in from school, and handed Paul an envelope.   She said, "Yes... I did everything in it."  And then she walked away.  Paul opened the envelope and there was nothing in it!  That stinker!  She kept a straight face and everything!

Autumn's special day at school

This week Autumn is the student of the week.  Monday she had to take in a poster board of pictures of her family and things that she likes.  Wednesday (Today) we parents had to send in a letter from us.  We decided to make a quick video. Which you see here.  The whole class watched.  On the way home she was kissing the video she loved it.  She told paul she had a hair in her eye at end of the video and that she tried to wipe it way so that her friends would see her tear.

Fresh Eggs!

Loving the fresh eggs.  We only have two Buff-Orpington Chickens, but that supplies all the eggs we need for our family.

 • 1⁄3 less cholesterol
• 1⁄4 less saturated fat
• 2⁄3 more vitamin A
• 2 times more omega-3 fatty acids
• 3 times more vitamin E
• 7 times more beta carotene

Paul picked up this double yoker the other day.  Look at it next to the other fresh eggs!
You Know, I never dreamed that I would have chickens!  Funny!

I signed up Autumn for Jazz and Gymnastics.  She love them both.  Tonight was her second week.  I think she's hooked.
