A New Love...Norwex

I've been wanting to blog on this for quite some time!  I've been slacking on my blogging lately.  I know it's because I don't have a camera, sorry dad.

I love, love, love this product.  I just wanted to share.  I've been using Norwex products for 6 month now and I don't know what I'd do with out them.  Here are a few facts.

Norwex Antibacterial Microfiber Cleaning Products
Our line of cleaning products will save you time & money, improve health, and move towards creating a better environment.  Norwex microfiber goes beyond "surface clean" with the innovative use of silver particles integrated into synthetic microfiber cloth ensure:

  • Single-celled micro-organisms such as bacteria, fungi, yeast, and viruses cannot survive or adapt in silver exposure
  • Surface-to-surface cross-contamination is eliminated
  • Rapidly drying cloths prevent bacteria growth in the cloth itself
Cleaning with water only produces a healthy outcome for us and the environment.
Laboratory tests have proven that Norwex antibacterial microfiber reduced bacteria by 99.99% in 24 hours!  (copy and pasted from the Norwex website)

I started out with the facial-antibac clothes.

The clothes are lined with silver... you use no face soap or chemicals.   I don't have time to explain so you'll have to read up on them!    They cost me $20 for 3 cloths... no more buying expensive facial products for me!

To clean the cloths you boil them for 5-10 minutes.

After the facial clothes I tried the Enviro Cloth, antibac.  This is an everyday cleaning cloth.

The big test is to wipe butter on your window and take the Norwex cloth and clean it off!  Unbelievably it comes perfectly clean with no streaks using only water!

THis is not a review of the product but I just wanted to share.

I love them and I think you will too!

Happy Valentines Day!

A Surprise for Me!

Paul left the other day to go to the POBox.  He told me if we received any conformation checks for our summer programs in the mail he'd bring me home a surprise.  I don't know about you but I loves surprises.  I really was looking forward to a candy bar (anything with peanut butter my favorite) or a Iced coffee from the Biggby's.

So when He returned home, to my surprise.... huh, a vacuum?

Yes!! I was so excited, boy does my husband know what his wife wants:)
I had just vacuumed the floor while he was gone.  When he brought the vacuum home of course I had to use it right away!

This is what I got!  Yeah!  A much cleaner floor.  A clean floor, means a happy wife.  Thank you husband!

Today I'm off to a Prayer Conference at the COG campgrounds in Fenton.  They asked me to come and run the sound and media for the morning speaker.  The sound guy couldn't make it so they thought of me.  Me?  They said because I run everything for our programs and I have knowledge of all that stuff.  Hee Hee!  I know how my husband ticks, his cues, his likes and dislikes.  I know when he's going to long and how to shut him up. HA!  I wonder if they made the right choice??

Soon I'll be filling you all in on our new endeavor!  We just found out the other day that the YMCA here in our town has allowed us to lease the building on Sunday mornings to pioneer a church for Young Families.  So exciting.  Lots more to come on this.

Mr. Clean, My hero!

My leather couch was looking pretty grimy.  We've had it for two years, and it's ivory.  It gets washed about every other month.  But these last few times It hasn't seem to be cleaning up very well.  It looked as if I needed to take a scrub bush to it to get into the groves.  (Can you do that to leather?)  Thanks to mr clean sponges, my couch looks like new.  I've never buy that leather cleaner again!  It took 5 sponges and about 7 hand towels to wipe it down but HOLY COW!  I feel like I've got new furniture.  I was going to take a picture but I was to ashamed.  It ready didn't look that bad, until I cleaned one cushion.
