A Doctor's Wisdom

A Doctor's Wisdom:

A worried woman went to her gynecologist and said: 'Doctor, I have a serious problem and desperately need your help! My baby is not even 1 yr. Old and I'm pregnant again. I don't want kids so close together.'

So the doctor said: 'Ok, and what do you want me to do?'

She said: 'I want you to end my pregnancy, and I'm counting on your help with this.'

The doctor thought for a little while, and after some silence he said to the lady: 'I think I have a better solution for your problem. It's less dangerous for you too.' She smiled, thinking that the doctor was going to accept her request.

Then he continued: 'You see, in order for you not to have to take care of 2 babies at the same time, let's kill the one in your arms. This way, you could rest some before the other one is born. If we're going to kill one of them, it doesn't matter which one it is. There would be no risk for your body if you chose the one in your arms.

The lady was horrified and said: 'No doctor! How terrible! It's a crime to kill a child! 'I agree', the doctor replied. 'But you seemed to be ok with it, so I thought maybe that was the best solution.'

The doctor had made his point. He convinced the mom that there is no difference in killing a child that's already been born and one that's still in the womb. The crime should be considered the same!

Practice

My friend Jinger just had a baby.  Her name is Montana.  A couple of us girls went over to see the new bundle of Joy and took a few photos for her.  She had this basket sitting in the corner of the play room so we tried it out.

My all time favorite baby photographer is my friend  Natalie.
By just looking a her photos makes me want another baby!!
Her photographs put mine to shame!
Go check her out, but not if your finished having babies!

I did photos of hands and feet because I did this with my Lillie.
I love being able to remember how small she was when
she was just a few days old.

I looking to upgrade my Canon EOS Digital Rebel for a new Canon in about a month.  I've had this camera for 6 years.   I'm open for recommendations.  I'm also looking for a few new lens. I know that lens are so important especially for clarity.   I know I have a few Photographer friends out there so I'd love your opinions for my next few purchases.

TODAY

*When have a new baby goat!  Finally a goat with no problems delivering.  Her name is Riblet We did loose the momma to the last little goat that was born yesterday.

*Paul forgot about a moonwalk rental so I just has to drive the trailer up to him and do a quick switch.  I hate to drive the trailer, maybe if I did it more often.

*I took a nap today:-)

*Lillie didn't.... crabby!

*my vacuum is broken.  I don't know how long I can handle that.

* we have a mouse and it's not a pet!

There you go!  Yesterday in a Nut shell.  My friend Beth said to me you get up early to do your blog!  LOL!   I told her I just schedule my post for 6:00 am.  I work on them the night before.   shhh.  Sometimes I do them at the spare of the monent, but mostly before I go to bed.  GOODNIGHT ALL!  Or should I say to you GOOD MORNING!

A New School Prayer

Now I sit me down in school
Where praying is against the rule
For this great nation under God
Finds mention of Him very odd.
If Scripture now the class recites,
It violates the Bill of Rights.
And anytime my head I bow
Becomes a Federal matter now.
Our hair can be purple, orange or green,
That's no offense; it's a freedom scene.
The law is specific, the law is precise..
Prayers spoken aloud are a serious vice.
For praying in a public hall
Might offend someone with no faith at all.
In silence alone we must meditate,
God's name is prohibited by the state.
We're allowed to cuss and dress like freaks,
And pierce our noses, tongues and cheeks..
They've outlawed guns, but FIRST the Bible.
To quote the Good Book makes me liable.
We can elect a pregnant Senior Queen,
And the 'unwed daddy,' our Senior King.
It's 'inappropriate' to teach right from wrong,
We're taught that such 'judgments' do not belong.
We can get our condoms and birth controls,
Study witchcraft, vampires and totem poles.
But the Ten Commandments are not allowed,
No word of God must reach this crowd.
It's scary here I must confess,
When chaos reigns the school's a mess.
So, Lord, this silent plea I make:
Should I be shot; My soul please take!
Amen

I love you Kroger!

All this for $13.00, I love to go grocery shopping.
I hated it a year ago before I learned how to shop with coupons!  It's funny now how I tell the girls, I can't buy that we don't have a coupon.  They just smile and say, okay.

Just a quick run down on a few items!

Poweraide-.25
Ocean Spray-.49
Pringles-free
Kellogg's cereal-.49

Just a quick update on the Dietzels.

*Everyone is coping with Enoch gone.  I still tell the girls to pick up their shoes Enoch will eat them:-)

*We have another 500 shirts to press next week.

*Were getting ready for our summer programs.  I've been working on music.  I got some great new stuff this year.

*I had the opportunity to take some photos of my friends new baby this week!  Nothing professional but better than your average Joe!!  It's good practice.

*I can't put down the last Amish book in the series Sisters of the Quilt by Cindy Woodsmall. My poor husband will be glad when I'm finished so he can have some attention.

*Autumns last day of school is Friday!  Were all very excited that bed time will no long be at 8:00.

*I'm wanting to purchase the book The Shack.  Has anyone read this book Yet?

*I'm so in need of hair cut and I can't get in for a whole week!  ugh  I'm a gal that has to have her hair cut every 4 weeks.

Oh...  tonight one of our goat was in labor,  it's sad that the baby was not alive.  He was a little buck.  It was a horrible experience to witness trying to get the baby out.  I'll spare you the details.  Were hoping the next 2 have a better delivery.

New Camera Case

Enoch got a hold of my little camera case.  That Stinker!!   He does have his first class tonight, he's being certified as a working class dog.  This will allow him into schools and hospitals etc. He also turned 1 on March 7th, weighting in at 113 pounds.

Anyhow, I saw this great idea for a camera case in a Magazine.  That Nikon case was $10 on clarence at the Ritz.  I got this cute sock at the Old Navy Outlet for .99!!

Works for me!  I thinks it cuter than the black one!

Life is getting busy.  Which is good for the Dietzels.  Busyness means income!!   Paul has meetings coming out of his ears!!!  Were working on summer programs, camps and other events that Paul is on the board of.

The conference was great in Greenville.  I'll share more later this week on that. (IT was 80 degrees in SC)  I got lots of new Kids Music!  Which makes my life easier so I've been working on new motions.  I'm beginning to think that Paul and I are getting to old to be jumping around like this. HA!

The Girls loved having my friend Lacey her over the weekend while we were gone.  Lillie keeps asking for her.  I wished she lived closer.

Paul has a meeting with the YMCA next week so we'll fill you in on all the church plant details as it comes in.  He's at a meeting this morning with the State Bishop going through all the logistics to set our church up though the Church of God.

It rainy and gray today here in Michigan... ugh

Well enough rambling for one day.  Have a good day.

Thanks Lacey!

Lacey came to stay with the girls while Paul and I worked Wed. & Thurs.  She made these cute felt crowns for the girls while she was here.

The girls just love Lacey.  I'm very thanks full for you too Lacey.  Wish you live closer so we could see each other more often.  Lace will be staying with the girls this weekend Saturday -Wednesday.  Paul and I have to go to Tennessee for a kids Crusade.  She was only keeping Autumn because of school and we were suppose to be gone for 10 days.  Lucky for us we had a cancellation:-( and will be gone only for 4 days so Lillie will be staying behind.

Friday on Halloween, we have our equipment out at Autumns old Elementary School in Swartz Creek, then after that we have to take our equipment over to The Freedom Center  in Fenton for Light the Night.  Not sure exactly what we will be up to on Halloween.

Saturday we will be lecturing at the Church of God Campgrounds.  We'll be teaching Michgian children's Leaders the first Saturday of each month for the next 7 months.  Then from there we'll be heading south.

October..burr

This photo just says burr to me.  I took it today after church. (It's our backyard) Winter is in the air.  Cool and crisp.  It's so windy today, I'm sure by morning there will be no leaves left on the tress.

Despite the chill day... it was a nice Sunday.   Pastor Paul is gone (again) to Ohio (our second home)  He'll be in tomorrow morning.  Today after church,  Lou took a nap while I read my new Beverly Lewis book and Autumn played on the internet.  I did a few thing around the house and the girls and I made cookies.  Kind of a lazy day.

I must say.  I'm getting kinda tired of the lazy days.  Wanting to get back to work again.  If funny how after a busy, busy summer, you need some time for yourself.  Then out of now where the urge to get busy again comes along.

I haven't moved the Lawn in 14 years!

We'll Paul found this huge mower on Craigslist several months ago.  He loves it.  We needed to mow so bad.  With us gone, then the rain, then gone... we'll you know what I mean.   He was leaving for the weekend so it had to be done.  Paul finished our large piece of property and then had to do this place.  He was getting tired,  Together it's about 4.5 arc of mowing. So he said, "I'll teach ya!"   It was pretty easy after taking out a small tree stump stalling the mower, then running through to much grass and taking of the belt.  I got a handle of it.  It goes by itself so it can have a mind of it own! So Paul thought I deserved a photo.  Since this is the only labor work that I do!  HA, you all know me better than that!  I did enjoy it.

Lillie is doing awesome!  No accidents for 3 day, poop on the potty for 3 days (Does #2 only on the big potty).  We just go back from Walmart, Kroger and the Pet store. The paranoid mom taking her to the potty in every store. (We have a small foldable plastic toilet seat that I keep in my bag, it's great!)  She didn't go.  Not until we got home!  YEAH!

New Blogger Header

The Dietzels have a new look!  What do you think?  I'd like to know.

Many many thanks to Fina' Drea who re-designed the Dietzel Blog.  I love it!  I was wanting something more professional and less blogger.  Drea is a sweet, young, little pastors wife, mother of two boys, photographer, designers and the list goes on.  My friend Lacey  turned my on to her blog when I first started blogging!  I fell in love with her the first time I read her blog. Probably because it seems I have so much in common with her.(except she younger! lol!)  Both being married right out of high school at the age of 19, jumping with both feet into ministry!   You'll love her blog and her family, check her out.  If you need a blog face lift, give her a shout.

I feel like a Hot Fudge Brownie!

Yum... Hot fudge Browning!  When Paul and I first got married (11 Years ago) when we lived in Lansing we would go to Bill Knaps and order Hot Fudge Brownies.

The house is trashed, the dishes need to be done. (everyone knows I don't leave dishes in the sink)  We've been in and out and running every-which way.  We've been switching out equipment with the 3 truck,  Which are all out this weekend so that great income for us this week.  We've just pressed 600 t-shirts for Teen camp.  Paul is on the board for two children camps coming up so we have to press 600 more t-shirts in the next 2 weeks.
Let me also add that we are also Coordinating and speaking at.  We've been working on our family zoo HA!  Putting up fencing and what not!  EIEIO!

Found this picture on my camera.  It was a week ago when it was a chilly June day in Michigan. Just bought this pool and Lillie obviously couldn't wait.  I turned around for 5 seconds and the kid was stripped down and sitting in a pool with no water.  It was way to chilly to swim this day.

That Darn CAT is not ours.  It's been hanging around for a few weeks.  I think someone dropped it off.  It's to friendly for me.  Wish it would go away.  I keep telling my husband to quit feeding it!
Now off to make some brownies!!!

I've been tagged!

I have been tagged! you all know how to play right? Someone tags you, and you tag six more bloggers. That means that in your blog, you link to the blogger who tagged you, state six useless facts about yourself, and then tag six new bloggers by listing their blogs and leaving a comment on each. My friend lace from Keeping my Fingers Crossed tagged me.

Six useless things about me:
1.  I take all the photographs in our house, so I'm in none of them.  Except this cheesy one I took of myself the other day in the car.

2.  I used to collect cartoon band-aids.

3.  My favorite cookie is the store bought sugar cookie from Super Walmart.

4.  I'm a coupon shopper!!!!  I love to get free food!

5.  I don't know North, South East or West (I just asked my husband and this is what he said.)

6.  He also says I can't spell and I'm not a great cook!

So there you go, my husband knows me better than I do.  I'd hate to ask him for all six!  I tag. . . My sister in-law Kristen at Ramblings and I don't know anyone else who blogs!!!

This is for you, friends & family!

Ok, so I'm going to try this blog thing.  My friend Lacey came to stay with me and watch my girls while my husband was in the hospital.  Check out her blog at Keeping my fingers crossed.  She helped me set all this up. I'm still trying to figure out uploading pictures.  This is a whole new world, but will be lots of fun.

So, I've decided to blog for friends and family!  This way you all can keep track of our family and our journeys.  I'll do my best to blog at least once a week.  Here goes nothing!
