IAAPA

Paul and I just got back from IAAPA (International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions)
which was held in Orlando, Florida.
This expo is 9 miles long if you walk every isle with over 2,500 vendors! Talk about sore feet!

This inflatable was ONLY $30,000!!! It weighed 1,500 pounds
Obviously we did not buy it!

I'd say that 80% of the expo is hands on.  I tried everything I could.  It was like I was a kid again.  I even tried this high ropes course.  AWESOME!!!

Here you can try every kind of carny food you can buy at the carnival!  We tried it all times 3 because we were there for 3 days!  It took us two whole days just to walk the entire expo.

This was the worlds Largest ipad.

These are those Hurricane machines that you find at the mall.  Crazy fun but not worth my $$$  Good thing I didn't have to pay!

There was free Icee's, Dipn Dots, Pizza, Cotton Candy, Coke, Egg Rolls, Funnel Cakes, Ice Cream.... oh man my pants were starting to get a little snug!

Free things to do like making yourself in to bobble heads!

This is the Floor layout of the expo.

Free Glitter Tattoos!  Oh the fun, oh the food, oh the money we could spend if money grew on trees!  This expo has high rollers.  People were there buying rollor coasters, water parks, 5D theaters, Concessions all the way down to a simple garbage can!  It was great fun with husband trying all these new things.  It lets us see what is the latest and great in the world of entertainment and allows us to dream big!

SWAK: Sucker for Letters

I'm participating in the SWAK Valintine Carvial put on by We are that Family
I hoping I win those his and her t-shirts!! My wife Rock and My husband Rock!
You should check it out and see how other wives are honoring their husbands.

So here is my a story about my husband Paul.

He's an artist, and he's always wrote me the most creative letters. We were 2.5 hours apart so we seen each other only on the weekends. Letters were lots more fun than the phone calls. I'm a keepsake girl. I've kept all my letters, cards, and pictures from paul. ( I even kept the cartoon sketch he did of me at Applebees on the place-mat.) This here is the first letter he wrote to me. It was after our first date. He pays so much attention to detail. This is one of Pauls gifts that I love about him. In the letter you will notice, where we went on our first date, Applebee's and then putt-putt golf. This letter was wrote just before Paul went to Europe. We had one date and then he left for six weeks, and yes I receive more creative letter from Greece and Albania. I am a sucker for love letters!

He reads my blog you know. . . he's probably going to make me pay for this!

Husband, I love you. I love your creativity and the way you pay attention to detail.
Happy Valentines Day!
Jessica

Enoch, Autumn & Lillie

Encoh...  Getting to be a big boy.  Weighting in at about 105 pounds and is 11 months old.  He's doing great and he listens very well.  A habit he's picked up is drinking out of the tub faucet. He seems to like the drip.  He sleeps all day and wants to play at night.  We found out today that he is going to be a great protector.

Lillie Lou... she's liking her sister's Nintendo DS.  She has been cracking us up lately, she is so funny.   She's into her dress up and princess stuff.  She likes Angelina Ballerina, Backyardagains, Max & Ruby and Wonder Pets.  She likes to talk on the phone to Grandma even though most times you have no idea what she is talking about.  Everything Autumn does she has to do.  She still has that silly passy. That's because mom doesn't want to give it up yet :)  Don't worry she only has it when she sleeps and when she rides in the car.  Today we cleaned out her clothes for summer. She can still where some of them.  She a tiny little thing.  She loves her black dress shoes and would wear them with everything if I let her.

Autumn...  Always has and always will bloom with personality!!  Loves the internet.  She has her own email and enjoys looking at videos on youtube.  She is growing up so fast. Her favorite store is Limited Too.   She love's to dress up,  but also loves to play with boys.  She's into her Jazz class right now.  Yes, she does have rhythm.  She loves animals and can't wait to go on a date with her dad.  This Monday after jazz they are going to Applebee's.  She's is so excited.

As for Paul and I (sorry not photo, there's never any of the parents any more) We're doing great. I enjoy spending my days with him.  I think we're kind of spoiled when it comes to being self-employed and doing what we want.  Some have been asking about the fast and if we've made any decisions yet.  Not yet, but lots is happening and we will know the Lords will before to long.   I'll fill you in soon as to what is happening with the Dietzels?

For Better or Worse?

There's never a dual moment around here.  (it's always me not the girls) I decided to try and make granola.  I did'nt have any cookie sheets that had sides so I used a few glass pans.  I finished several batches and it turned out great.  I had warm dish water in the sink (Your looking at her... the dish washer)  So I slid the hot pan into the warm water... You know it!   I didn't event think about it!  YUP,  there was a loud pop and a splash.
I turned around and the sink was full of floating glass.  What a mess, the tinniest little pieces were on the counter and floor.  This is so like me!  I do these things often.

Here are a few more events that have kept our marriage interesting.

Once I let a whole chicken boil dry and smoke up the whole house.  I totally forgot about it.

The engine light in the car came on.  I had left to go somewhere so I called Paul.  I said, "something is really wrong with the car!  Theirs an arrow pointing at the engine light and it's blinking and making a noise!"  I'm so pathetic.  It was the blinker that I had left on.

When we were first married I couldn't figure out why my clothes didn't seem to be getting clean.  I washed clothes for 2 weeks with fabric softener before I realized it wasn't soap.  My mom kept telling me I needed to learn how to do laundry before I got married.  I should have listened.

Not to mention things like forgetting to pack Paul underwear when we go on trips. Or forgetting the Laptop for a program when we are hours away home.  Oops

I have gotten a bloody noes on stage.  Paul elbowed me in the nose when I was putting him in his straight jacket.

The sound system was not working one day.  Why?  I couldn't figure it out, we just used it.  Try the power button my hubby says.   Grrrr

Lastly, my husbands favorite... Mash potatoes down the garbage disposal.  He still can't leave this one alone.  My drain was plugged for a week!

You see, this is what keeps marriage interesting...
For better or worse.  Right Dear?

Love you husband!
